Overview
Field Service Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) Birmingham - £32k - £38k Heavy travel with overnight and international stay required. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicates Mechanical and Electrical, Field Service Engineers, supporting customers and clients based across the UK and Europe. You must have excellent engineering skills across both Mechanical and Electrical with strong communication skills and the ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, as you will be primarily customer-facing. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing and modifying the electrical and mechanical equipment in various environments facing a variety of clients. You will be expected to manage customers inquiries, complaints or problems ensuring that a good professional relationship is always maintained. Your Profile · Electrical and mechanical service engineering background · Ideally experience of automated equipment such as conveyors, crane’s, robots, · 17th/18th edition electrical regulation · Ability to fault find · Able to read engineering drawings You must be flexible to travel and work paid overtime when required, hold a full clean driving license and be able to work at height. You will be traveling extensively both within and outside Europe and must have an up-to-date passport. The Field Service Engineer will spend a vast majority of their time based on the road with overnight trips and international travel required. All expenses covered with car and petrol allowance and overtime bonus' available.
