Accounts Assistant - Accounts Senior - Practice

Do you have recent experience in accountancy practice? Are you looking for a new opportunity where either part or full time hours can be considered? Watson Evans Associates are seeking applications from experienced (you can be either fully, part, recently AAT qualified or consider yourself QBE) Accounts Assistants or Seniors for an opportunity with an Accountancy Practice based near Newquay. The practice is well established and has a loyal client base. They're growing and this role is a new post within the business. It will be offered on a permanent (either part time or full time) basis with a starting salary likely to be between £24,000 and £28,000. And, if you're fed up of commuting into a town centre only to struggle to find somewhere free to park; onsite parking is available for you. You'll be joining a small but knowledgeable and approachable team and will be working with a wide range of clients. You'll be needed to do a range of tasks including preparing sets of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Other duties are likely to include tax returns, VAT and general bookkeeping. Experience of using Xero, Sage and/or Quickbooks would be useful, but it's more about finding the right person.
