Overview
A well-established R&D organisation with over 100 employees are looking to rapidly expand their team and as such are seeking a bright Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / C++ to join their development team near Watford, Hertfordshire. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / C++ you will be involved in the design, development and test of embedded software and contributing to the system architecture design where possible. You will get the opportunity to utilise and improve your skills in low-level, real-time Embedded C programming for complex device drivers / microcontrollers and will be working in a large engineering team, reporting to the Head of Software. Skills / Experience required for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / C++ job: Experience in Embedded C / C++ software programming Experience in working on embedded software for real-time applications Networking experience in TCP/IP, UDP and driver interfacing to SPI, I2C, RS485, CAN A basic understanding of underlying hardware / electronics Knowledge of C#, Linux, HTML/CSS and DSP would all be beneficial To have obtained a relevant software / engineering related degree This is a great chance for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / C++ to join a consistently growing technology company offering great training and career progression opportunities.
