Care Assistants needed in Wellingborough Immediate start available Ref No. PK42457 Our client in Wellingborough is a beautiful 45 bedded Nursing Home that is independently run and promotes the highest standards of care. The latest CQC report is rated 'GOOD' in all areas and the home is located in a quiet and pleaseant area of town. They have an exciting opportunity for a care assistant to join their passionate team of HCA's and SHCA's. We are looking for care assistants who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of care assistants to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the nursing home. Training and support will be provided to care assistants from senior care assistants who have little or no previous experience within a care home. These are full time, permanent positions working on Nights paying £8.90 per hour. Contracts are for 42 hours per week working 3 long shifts in Week 1 and 4 long shifts in Week 2. I also have similar Care Assistant roles in surrounding areas such as Rushden with Days and Nights available paying £9.00-9.10 per hour if these would be more of interest to you. Main duties for care assistants are as follows: Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant Practical Support - Making beds, preparing food & laundry Liaise with visiting family and friends Desirable: Care assistants with previous experience within a care home and NVQ's within health and social care.
