Overview
Tameside/Audenshaw KS2 Class Start -ASAP Position - Learning Mentor Role - Supporting students with pastoral and behavioural needs on one to one basis. Empowering Learning are looking for a Learning Mentor with a sporting background to support pupils with different needs; mental health, behavioural issues and ASD in a 1-1 capacity and within small groups in KS2. This position is open to experienced, Learning Mentors or those with experience in similar areas, where you have gained transferable skills. You would need to have experience working with children or young people in a formal capacity, such as sports coaching, mentoring, befriending, social work or youth worker. You will need to have a strong understanding of supporting children and young people. You will work as part of a very close team of staff and build solid relationships throughout the school.
