Overview
Based in Ely working for a well established and well respected firm of Accountants who are looking to add a Trainee to their friendly team. This is a great opportunity for a college leaver to begin their career within a firm that is well known for developing and progressing their staff. A full training package is on offer for the AAT qualification and duties will involve you learning how to prepare accounts and tax returns, offering business advice, calculating tax and developing many other valuable skills. Other duties will include carrying out tasks to required deadlines, assist in departments as required to help with development and skills, deal with client queries, build constructive relationships with other team members, use their technical knowledge while working on client assignments, develop an understanding of the different services offered by the business and cross sell these services. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with a real desire to learn and great attention to detail and must have 3 A Levels or equivalent at grade C or above or and 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade 4 (or C) including Maths and English. Further opportunities are available to progress your career onto ACA/ACCA.
