Financial Controller

We are supporting a well established business in the recruitment of a Financial Controller to be based in Kings Lynn. This role has been bought in to give better visibility of the numbers and to provide detailed insight to work closely with the Managing Director in driving performance and business growth. Reporting to the MD, the Financial Controller will also work closely with the wider business to provide commercial insight to support strategic decision making. The business is focussed on commercial performance alongside providing outstanding quality and exceptional customer service. What you will be responsible for: • Production of monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and recommendation • Work closely with the Senior Management team to analyse risk and identify opportunities • Provide commercial insight and support the MD in driving business performance • Review, improve and implement financial reporting systems where necessary • Control and maintain the standard costing system • Produce forecasts and manage the budgetary process • Manage, train, coach and motivate the finance team • Business partner with sales and operations team Skills and experience: • ACA/ACCA/CIMA would be advantageous but not essential • Experience working within the Manufacturing industry is required • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well on all levels • A strong working knowledge of Excel, to include Pivot Tables and VLook ups Over the last few years, the business has had a shift in focus towards creating a dynamic culture.
