Overview
Support Worker Location: Workington, Mayport and surrounding areas Salary: £9.80 per Hour (including health care cash plan) Contract: Full, Part Time and Bank positions available About the Role: Here at Oaklea we don’t like to use the term Support Worker or Carer, we think that a better description of the work our employees do is Lifestyle Co-ordinators, assisting customers in all aspects of their lives including excellent care and support. Working in the charitable sector, Oaklea do not work for profit, our customers are at the heart of all we do and our fantastic team of Lifestyle Co-ordinators work to provide them with the highest standards of care and support. Due to increased demand for our support, we are looking to increase our teams in Workington and Maryport to support elderly people in their own homes, enhancing their lives, assisting them with daily tasks that have become challenging, and supporting with a range of health care issues aimed at keeping people in their own homes. What we need from you: You don’t have to be experienced, just have an excellent attitude to working with people as full training will be provided. Full Driving Licence, and access to own vehicle is essential due to work location.
