Xilinx / Vivado Embedded C Engineer Chessington £40,000 - £60,000 Permanent A global scientific company in Chessington are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer / Xilinx / Vivado for the end to end development life cycle for custom machine boards. Working along side the Head of Engineering and within a team of software, firmware and hardware enginers this role will also sit within a wider team of mathematicians and physicists. Key Responsibility Areas Full lifecycle of design and implementation of software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment Experience with FPGA / Xilinx / Vivado Review code and design Integrate and validate new product designs Support software QA and optimise I/O performance Interface with hardware design and development Assess third party and open source software Academic B. Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering is essential Skills and knowledge Solid programming experience in embedded C and/or C Proven working experience in software engineering Proven Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems Good knowledge of security protocols and software techniques to secure data Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components This role is for an immediate start - Chessington Please call or email your CV to be considered.
