Principal/Chartered Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Godalming, Surrey) Competitive Salary Bonus and Benefits. Specialist geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy has an opportunity for a Principal/Chartered Geotechnical Engineer to join its team. Key Requirements: Chartered Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or appropriate professional body, with a first degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering or engineering geology, and an appropriate postgraduate MSc or higher degree. Minimum 5 years' experience - including ideally a period of post charter experience working on relevant geotechnical projects in the UK. Other skills and attributes: A good, all round team player with a mature approach. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience of managing small project teams. Enthusiasm to learn new skills & develop advanced numerical modelling skills. Competence in the use of Eurocode design including PILING, PILED WALLS, foundations, temporary works, SOIL NAILS, GROUND ANCHORS and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations.
