Location: Bosbury, near Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1HB What you will be doing As a qualified RMN/RGN/RNLD/ nurse – either with experience or a preceptee - you will ensure young people with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. Things that you will have: A relevant nursing qualification and registration Strong team-working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next. Where you will be working To provide nursing care for our residents in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct, Stanley House Care’s policies and procedures, and by working in collaboration with other nurses and members of the multi-disciplinary team. To dynamically manage the care and ancillary teams to ensure that the home runs smoothly on a day to day basis. Communicating effectively with residents, multi-disciplinary team, relatives and Stanley House Care. Understanding the conditions and physical, emotional and psychiatric needs of the residents and preparing, implementing and reviewing care plans as per the nursing process. Keeping accurate factual written accounts of care provided. Evaluating care and elevating concerns or changes in condition to the correct MDT member. Following the Stanley House Care medication policy. Observing and following all policies relating to the Stanley House Care Health and Safety policy statement. Overseeing shift allocation and ensuring the home is appropriately staffed. Supervision of Care Assistants, ancillary and support workers.
