Overview
A Chef de Partie role is available at a busy café located in the Bakewell region of the Peak District Role: A Chef de Partie is required to join the team of four chefs working in the kitchen producing good quality, fresh food ranging from sandwiches to hot food and fresh pizzas for large numbers of covers up to 1000 a day during the summer months.The café is open seven days a week but also opens for Bistro evenings with a more ‘a la carte’ menu than during the day.As Chef de Partie you will be expected to be capable of running your own section in the kitchen ensuring that you are totally prepared for the full on service times allowing you to cope well with the pressure of large cover numbers.The role can offer good working hours with day time shifts from 8am to 4.30pm as well as two Bistro evening shifts a week averaging 45 hours. Requirements: A strong Chef de Partie capable of running a busy section and performing well under pressure is needed to take on this role.Its important that all applicants have been working in high quality, fresh food kitchens where you were creating dishes from scratch on a large scale.
