Early Years Educator - Pembury Nursery Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. We are only able to conduct telephone interviews at this point in time as we need to follow the Government’s guidelines on social distancing. About the job : • Number of Rooms: 2 x combined Baby Room and 1 x 2-5s Room • Total capacity of Nursery: 71 place Nursery • Opening Times: 8 PM -6PM Pembury Nursery is a lively and exciting Nursery in the heart of Hackney. We have a abundance of great transport links and serve a friendly and supportive community. At Leyf, we have a holistic and creative approach to the children’s learning and development and we champion child-led activities and extending existing interests. Practitioners hoping to join this nursery will be able to plan and deliver age appropriate activities to challenge and develop our young minds, extending the children’s learning and incorporating their interests. Our Pembury Nursery is spacious and modern with lovely individual gardens that can be accessed independently from each room. About you: Full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. To understand the prime areas of the EYFS and be imaginative in their planning. To have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
