Early Years Educator – BIRD IN BUSH Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. About the job: • Number of Rooms: • 1 Baby Room, 1 Toddler Room, 1 Preschool • Total capacity of Nursery: 55 place Nursery • Opening Times: 7.30AM -6.30PM Our Bird in Bush Nursery joined the LEYF family in May 2014. Located along Old Kent Road, in the heat of the local community in Peckham, our Bird in Bush nursery is easily accessible by local bus routes. Our early years educators create inspiring and fun experiences for our children, creating a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children’s development. LEYF are advocates for high standards and creative teaching whilst maintaining professional attitudes and championing child-centred learning. Our early years educators excel in teamwork, supporting the nursery whilst it grows in to a truly fascinating setting for our children. About you: Full and relevant childcare qualification at level 3 or above. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection Commit to 40hrs per week. Experience working in an early year’s setting. To champion LEYF’s values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
