Early Years Educator – Firestation nursery Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. About the job: 3 Rooms: 1 Baby Room, 1 Toddler Room, 1 Preschool 45 Place nursery Opening Times: 8am – 6pm Joining the LEYF family in 2016, Fire Station Nursery is a fantastic setting that inspires curiosity and excitement The nursery is set in an old fire station and utilities all the possible space to make a vibrant and engaging setting. Our new teacher will be able to confidently extend the children’s learning and use enjoyable and challenging activities to inspire their development. Our new teacher should fit well within our friendly team, sharing the values that makes this nursery a incredible setting. About you: Full and relevant experience in an early years setting. Level 3 relevant early years qualification Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting To value holistic methods of teaching and champion heuristic problem solving in our children. To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. To understand the prime areas of the EYFS and be imaginative in their planning. To have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
