Global Pharmaceutical client are looking for 2 additional IT Support Analysts to join their busy IT Team in Cambridge. They are a ground-breaking company moving at a very fast pace from a technology perspective. While there is still a lot of legacy technology around, they have been rolling out a lot of new systems already with many more to come. They follow a cloud-first approach using cloud applications like Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Box, Okta Single sign-on, ServiceNow, Crowdstrike, and more. The help desk team is extremely customer focused and everything done puts the customer first. They strive to be as pro-active as possible in many ways and move away from old-school IT Help Desk to become a true service desk environment. The users are hungry for great service and this environment offers a help desk analyst more than just a job –it is an opportunity to grow in their career and to shine. There is no shortage in available, yet challenging projects either. The Infrastructure Services Analyst is responsible for providing helpdesk incident management and resolution, support for the delivery of new and existing service solutions, and overall helpdesk service operations. •Prompt and efficient triage of Tier 1 and 2 incidents, management and resolution. •Prompt escalation and collaboration in relation to tier 3 incidents. •Procurement and provision of computer equipment and peripherals to employees. •Tier 1 and 2 administration and monitoring of Backups, Active Directory, Mail filters, Anti-Virus and other operational tools. •Client software/hardware installation and configuration. •User and team training, and guidance on best practices. •Project support •Detailed knowledge of Windows 7/8 & 10. •Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of system administration within a Windows Active Directory Domain environment, including Microsoft Exchange, Office 2010/2013/Office 365, and Skype for Business. •SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online administration. •Working knowledge of networking tools such as DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. •Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
