Fantastic opportunity for experienced software engineers to join one of Europe’s largest independently owned technology companies. The company are at an exciting point in their growth and are embarking on a major new project to create a brand new software engineering team in Manchester city centre that will be responsible for building state of the art cloud-based applications and services that leverage the latest technologies and tools. The team will be made up of small agile squads given the freedom to use software engineering practices like TDD and SOLID alongside modern technologies like .NET Core, AWS and Microservices in a DevOps style environment – all the good stuff As a software engineer you’d work as part of a multidisciplinary agile team (QA, UX, DevOps, Product etc.) and would play an important role in setting the coding standards and patterns used across the entire cloud-based application suite, so this is a great opportunity to get in early and help shape their ways of working.
