Overview
A world leader in their specialist field of industrial engineering (plant/marine, etc.), our client provides essential software tools that allow industrial engineering businesses to control key aspects of the business processes. Their software allows multiple stakeholders in multiple locations to work collaboratively, seamlessly, on a wide range of related projects/contracts. This role is working on a project that relates to operational (3D / 2D) design modelling for industrial engineering plants. To fulfil the role successfully, you will need: - Experience ideally in both (or even just one) of the following areas: industrial engineering plant design and/or related software (PML) A relevant technical software / engineering degree Coding skills ideally in Programmable Macro Language and C# (desirable) Agile development methodologies in respect to software architecture/design/ - and familiarity with full Scrum participation Overseeing code reviews/testing/documentation Able to identify global to detailed level technical needs, feature development, project task breakdown, software coding, progress update and project delivery Solving technical problems with both customers and internal stakeholders Strong ability to support customers on the correct use of the software and how to adapt the tools/their practices for best performance outcome An willingness to undertake periodical international travel For a problem solving engineer who has the right technical & strong people skills, this role will provide a great variety of fulfilling work environments and conditions.
