Deputy Home Manager

Deputy Home Manager Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 Location: Corbridge (NE45) I currently have a vacancy for a Deputy Home Manager within an independent further education college for those with special educational needs. The organisation offer a person-centred approach which provides students with individualised learning programmes developed to effectively match their needs, offering a range of vocational qualifications and skills designed to enable independent living. The ideal candidate will have experience managing within a Special Educational Needs setting or similar and be comfortable managing a team of Support Workers. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience of working with young people and adults who have additional support needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex physical needs, who not only understands the young people’s needs but also the challenging behaviours that can accompany them. Due to the location of the post, a driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferential.
