Graduate ERP Systems Development Engineer Job Location: Bolton (commutable from Wigan, Manchester, Blackburn, Preston) Job Salary: £18K PA (one year contract) Job Sectors: Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Graduate Engineering / ERP / Systems We have an exciting job opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing graduate to join a leading manufacturer and distributor of machines components to the Petrochemical, Aerospace and Automotive industries. The successful candidate to the position of Graduate Development Engineer will use their academic experience as well existing costing databases and estimating programs to implement and develop the ERP system with bill of material and routing data, progressing towards implementing shop floor data collection. This will require an understanding of how things are made on the shop floor, which in the case of our client involves lathes, milling machines, presses, etc. Job requirements include: Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Eagerness to learn new skills on the job as part of a close knit team Excellent problem solving skills and adaptable approach to tasks Good level of IT knowledge PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS JOB IS FOR AN INITIAL ONE YEAR PERIOD . There is potential for the project to be extended or an alternative opportunity comes up elsewhere within the business.
