Overview

Are you an experienced and passionate support worker looking to support vulnerable adults? Are you passionate about supporting adults who may have a variety of needs? Would you like to aide in the success and happiness of vulnerable adults? We are currently recruiting for a support worker to support a young adult who requires a variety of support in day to day life in the Huntingdon area. This is a long term position with a minimum of 6 weeks, the likelihood is that it will continue. The role is varied and you will need to support them with the following; Assisting with the running of their residence Encouraging their and supporting their hobbies and social skills To connect with the service user by using intensive interaction and stimulating activities To encourage a positive environment by supporting their particular behavioural needs Possibly providing high levels of personal one-to-one care Maintaining and developing residents welfare Acting as an inspiration to vulnerable service users Ability to provide consistent and structured approach to the care and support you provide Benefits; Competitive rates of pay of £9.00 - £9.50 per hour Flexible hours - weekdays and weekends Free online training A dedicated specialist consultant there to answer any queries or listen to concerns Refer a Friend Scheme to receive £300 worth of shopping vouchers Weekend/Night pay £10.50 - £11 per hour You will be provided with all the necessary training, guidance and support to successfully carry out this role Requirements; Full UK/EU driving licence Enhanced DBS Certificate Holding relevant qualifications is welcomed Experience of working in a similar role that can be referenced Able to work flexible shift patterns to include, days, evenings, nights and weekends Able to work independently and as part of a team Diploma level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or minimum of 1 year relevant experience To apply please contact Daisy Biamonti on CV's are encouraged but please do let me know if you have any questions I look forward to hearing from you :)
