Overview
Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £17k Overtime The Role: · To repair PC based equipment to ensure a sufficient level of stock is available for field engineers to replace customer equipment as required. · Carry our repairs of PC based equipment to component level. · Document test and fix procedures. · Investigate fault trends. · Maintain communication with other departments to ensure effective relationships. What the company is looking for in the successful candidate: · Knowledge of repairing of PCs and or/peripheral hardware within an appropriate industry and able to transfer the skills to repair the equipment in the repair centre · Organised and able to prioritise work · Interpersonal skills to work with other departments and team members · Strong communication skills both verbal and written · Competent computer user · Knowledge of housekeeping, health and safety standards within an appropriate industrial environment · GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Petrie Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
