Location: Devizes Salary: £24,214 - £37,267 per annum Description: This is an exciting opportunity for an RNLD or RMN to join a new service for people with learning disabilities and complex needs as a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse . The service is newly built and has received national recognition as it provides a modern, purpose-built service and a 'home from home' for up to 5 individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism and complex needs including challenging behaviors. As a nurse you will be a key person in enabling the service users to live independent, active lives. All the service users have individual packages of care that are tailored to enable them to access local leisure, volunteering and educational services. The service itself consists of five self-contained flats that will enable service users to live independently whilst also being able to access communal areas also for socializing. The unit follows Positive Behavior Support model and principles. Training on the use of positive behavioral management will be provided to all staff, as will the opportunity to develop new skills. Ongoing support will be given for Continued Professional Development (CPD) and all staff will be able to link in with the professional nursing networks. Person Specification : NMC registered level 1 RNLD/RMN. Experience in learning disabilities, mental health, autism and complex needs desirable.
