Overview
Hospital Porters – Full Time Hospital Porters required to work within our large facilities Client based in Headington. As a Hospital Porter, your role will be to carry out a range of portering roles within the John Radcliffe Hospital. Duties of the Hospital Porter will include (but are not limited to): Collecting/returning blood from the blood bank Taking broken beds to the bed store Collecting and distributing for wards and departments Taking specimens from wards/departments and placing them in the laboratories Transferring patients to and from wards/departments As the ideal Hospital Porter you will demonstrate an ability to listen and understand simple instruction, clarify any uncertainties and convey routine information to others. You will maintain politeness, sensitivity and respect for others, taking into account equality and diversity – especially in areas with public interface such as wards. Shifts: Monday – Sunday, working 5 days out of 7 on a variable rota basis Shifts times: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am If you are interested in these positions please call Lawrence or Taylor at Champion Oxford, on 01865 264055, or apply online.
