Overview
Support Worker needed for a Supported Living Service in Slough, Berkshire. The ideal Support Worker will be able to work flexible shifts, supporting adults between 40-75 with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We are looking for Support Workers who are able to work day shifts on a regular basis. Shift patterns available 7:00-15:00 7:00-14:30 15:00-22:00 14:30-21:30 These shifts are available Monday- Sunday Benefits for you as the Support Worker: Flexible working hours (you choose when you work) Paid training provided by Charles Hunter Associates Weekly pay Ability to change the lives of vulnerable adults Opportunity to work alongside an experienced, supportive team Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker: Supporting service users with needs such as personal care Working closely with service users, staff, families and other relevant professionals Following service user care plans Consistently promoting independence to service users Requirements for you as the Support Worker: Enhanced Adults DBS At least 1 years' experience of working in a supported living environment Experience working alongside individuals with Learning difficulties & Mental Health problems Experience working alongside individuals with Physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy An encouraging and supportive attitude Excellent communication skills Moving and Handling training Medication Administration training Location: Slough, Berkshire Salary: From £9.00 - £11.10 depending on payment type If you are interested in this Support Worker role, please call Abigail Gordon on 0118 948 5555 or email .
