Overview
A leading manufacturing business in Kings Lynn are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician for their production facility, working as part of a wider team taking responsibility for reactive repairs and maintenance of various packaging, assembly and moulding machines and systems. Responsibilities: Reactive repairs and root cause investigations for quality related issues Resolve complex mechanical and electrical assembly issues and breakdowns Implement corrective measures to ensure failures don't reoccur Maintain production output levels Schedule Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Ensure supplies/parts/materials are available and that equipment is operating at optimum levels Provide systems maintenance advice and knowledge to support the wider manufacturing teams Provide assistance with the installation and validation of process equipment Look for and identify process and systems improvement opportunities In order for your application to be successful, you'll need the following: Qualification in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Engineering Maintenance (or similar) Time served apprentice in either Mechanical / Electrical role Good working knowledge of Control Systems, with an ability to use/understand drawing manuals & circuit diagrams Additional skills in the following will be highly desirable: Machine control systems (PLC / ASI / Pneumatics / HMI) Experience in Vision Systems, Pneumatic and Printer/Laser marking systems Background working on/with moulding machines and bespoke automatic assembly equipment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you can add value and feel valued.
