Overview
Role: Test Lead - Selenium Industry: Accounting Salary: £45,000 Benefits Location: London Description: Our QA team is a small unit with strong technical skills. We work with state of the art technologies and components like WEB APP, API, microservices, Microsoft CRM and AX. The Test team works closely with Web, CRM and business teams to deliver quality products initially perfuming manual testing and later incorporating the functionality into automation framework. The stakeholders are all internal (no more rushing about to different client sites), such a relief - right? Role Your day to day delivery will involve both manual and automation delivery. You will be responsible for writing test plan, test strategy and test reports for various projects. Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to get the user stories, requirements and writing both manual and automation test scripts, maintaining and enhancing automation framework. The dev team sits right next to the QA team so easy to touch base with on defects and bugs that are found. You'll be a point of contact when the QA manager is out of the office. Experience For this role we are looking for someone who is: - Proficient at Selenium Webdriver IO automation tool including Cucumber comfortably. - Being able to extend the existing Protractor framework independently using Javascript language. - Have good Customer service skills. - As a Lead role you'll need to have experience of or aptitude for taking a lead and being able to make decisions. - To help us meet our objective of moving to an automated processes we really do need to have a strong knowledge of Selenium.
