A pioneering clean energy business are currently on the lookout for a Modelling and Data Analysis Engineer to join their team based in West Sussex. This is an award winning business, offering the opportunity to grapple with truly exciting tech revolutionising the energy industry. What experience you will need: Degree in relevant discipline, eg: Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, etc. Experience programming with any of the following: MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic. Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience using data in an engineering, chemical, or science environment. Awareness of statistical methods in engineering. Experience of object oriented programming within MATLAB would be advantageous, but not absolutely essential. What you’ll be doing: You will work on the development of data analysis tool-sets for use within systems and product development. You will work on fluid modelling for existing systems, alongside developing for future projects. You will work on the development of automated processing algorithms, to enable dependable outputs. You will work with a wider team, taking responsibility for your work while communicating with fellow colleagues to achieve tasks.
