Overview
A Residential care service based in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire is looking for a Bank Support worker to support adults affected by Epilepsy and often learning disabilities or mental/physical health needs. As a Bank Support worker , you will be there to provide the best quality of care and person-centred support. The ideal Bank Support worker will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy and Autism. And can act as role models and mentors to those they support with a positive 'can do' attitude Shifts patterns: Early shift 7:00am - 2:30pm Midday shift 9:00am - 17:00pm Late shift 2:00pm - 21:30pm Long day 7:00am - 21:30pm Benefits for you as the Support Worker: Opportunity to work alongside a supportive and friendly team Excellent pay rates Weekly Pay Temporary to permanent opportunities Responsibilities for you as the Support worker: As a Bank support worker you would participate in multiple activities such as taking people shopping, cinema and bowling. Personal care - supporting service users with daily needs such as brushing teeth, bathing and getting dressed. Documenting - keeping records as well as conducting heath and safety checks. Supporting service users' development - helping to express emotions, develop communication and how to reduce challenging behaviour. Requirements for you as the Support Worker: Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable Mandatory Training provided, including: Safeguarding Adults, Medication administration and first aid.
