In order to further improve the services offered and experiences of our ShireLiving tenants a revised structure is being implemented which will better utilise the knowledge, skills and experience of the partners within the Group. This means we are looking to recruit a; Care Co-ordinator Area 1 (Oakwood, Parkwood, Maywood, High Mount & Barn Farm) Full-time – 37.5hours per week £9.71 per hour As a Care Co-ordinator you will provide administration support to the Care Manager and their Senior Support Workers. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of rotas for a “cluster” (3 or 4 ShireLiving schemes/services) whilst enriching lives through he planning of high quality person centred care and support services. To exceed the expectations of an individual performing this role you will require the following skills and experiences; ü Proven administration experience which has been gained in a fast paced and demanding environment. ü Good I.T. skills (include MS Word and Excel) and are able to demonstrate these skills practically. ü The ability to manage your own workload and meet the changing needs and priorities of the service. ü Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate positively and, clearly and concisely. ü The proven ability to problem solve without the support of others. ü It is also an advantage if you possess experience of working with vulnerable people and knowledge/experience of the housing or care sector.
