Are you interested in support work and looking for a new job opportunity? If so, we are looking for someone to join the team as a Support Worker based at our scheme, The Willows in Shifnal. This scheme supports customers with Mental Health needs. We are recruiting for a Support Workers. On a 29-hour contract available on a 24/7 scheme. This role will involve shift work, as part of a 4-week rolling rota, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. This will an on-call rota. What’s the role all about? Delivering quality housing and support services to sustain tenancies and develop independence Creating a customer-focused and welcoming environment Designing and providing tailored support to customers based on an assessment of needs, adapting appropriately to suit individual customers Liaising with local agencies to access any specialist support Engaging with customers to build positive, inclusive relationships whilst reviewing the impact of the support and the next steps needed. We want somebody who: Is well organised, comfortable in making their own decisions and a problem solver Will meet the needs of customers, commissioners and the wider community, whilst ensuring that service delivery is in line with Bromford’s policies and procedures Will show confidence when articulating services to customers, colleagues, commissioners and partner agencies Feels that networking comes naturally to them – not only externally but internally too – and you can build relationships so people know they can go to you and trust you Will be a great ambassador for Bromford.
