We are recruiting for a full and part time Support Workers at one of our care homes in Milton Keynes. No experience necessary. About the role You'll help to support George, a gentleman in his 40s who lives in his own home. George enjoys a range of activity including meals out, watching films, cars, going to the zoo and much more. You'll be helping George with a range of different activities including domestic tasks, administering medication and helping him with his finances. Our main focus is to offer a consistent and stable environment to help George achieve meaningful goals and to ensure he feels safe in his home. On occasions, George may require emotional support due to some mental health and behavioural needs. You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota. We're currently looking to cover day shifts, early shifts starting at 7:30 - 15:00 and also late shifts which run from 14:30 - 22:00. not real name About us We are an Award winning Charity that has the core belief that everyone has potential, something to offer and a valuable contribution to make to their community. What we need from you Firstly, you don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it’s something you’ll never forget. The right candidate will need to be patient and calm. A good sense of humour always helps and being able to work well in a team as you will usually be working directly with another member of staff of shift. As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.
