Overview
Our client within the Offshore sector is looking for a Finance Manager to give clarity and planning on how the business is run and to deliver vs growth targets. Primary role, coordination/management of accounts staff admin. All functions of a busy accounts department day to day function. Preparing monthly management accounts Preparing year-end accounts Preparing for annual audit / working with the external auditor Preparing weekly management financial reports Preparing cash flow Preparing forecasts and budgets with senior management Preparing and posting quarterly VAT rebate submissions Forecasting corporation tax payments Meeting monthly and annual closeout targets Consolidation of group accounts Experience: Worked with oil and gas service company Experience of SAGE 200 accounts and stock system Experience in international operations/offices. Would be able to travel, monthly visits to UK sites Possible annual visits to international bases Experience in managing a team in base and in external locations Ability/experience in consolidating international group accounts Other beneficial experience Payroll experience Norwegian tax experience International withholding tax experience R&D tax credit experience Scottish development grants and other grants application, process and reporting
