Overview
Firefly are working very closely with an exciting US-Listed (NASDAQ) software company in Reading, to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant into their fast-paced and ever-growing team The role will be quite a broad role, with focuses on Financial Accounting, Revenue Recognition and Business Partnering. Key responsibilities: Develop strong technical accounting understanding of US GAAP, specifically in relation to Revenue Accounting To review and reconcile revenues and costs, ensuring accurate accounting Communicate and business partner with operational and business teams to ensure accuracy of financial records and to leverage results commercially Maintain and contribute to the internal controls structure to ensure accurate financial reporting Lead and support improvement initiatives for revenue processes Other tasks and projects as required Essential skills: Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) Sound understanding of accounting principles Experience within a US Software company is desirable Revenue recognition is essential
