Overview
Are you an Accounts Junior / Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant with around 6 months (or more) bookkeeping or general practice experience, looking to join a small yet growing accountancy practice firm based in Edgware / North West London where you can continue with your training and bookkeeping & VAT return development? Are you also looking to finish or start your AAT studies? Are you keen to gain exposure to a wide range of clients, both local and Central London based, from a wide variety of sectors? If so, this growing accountancy firm which is part of a larger group, is looking to recruit a new Junior Bookkeeper / AAT student into their growing team. Your role will be varied and will include being trained so that you can carry out general bookkeeping duties, sales ledger and purchase ledger work, processing invoices, making payment for clients, bank reconciliations, and start to prepare VAT returns. You will also be responsible for ad hoc projects, including various reports, analysis and business management assignments for a wide range of interesting and high profile clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future, including being trained so you can start to prepare statutory accounts and tax returns for clients in the future. To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be studying the AAT or looking to start the AAT. You must have at least 6 months of bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice firm. You must also live within easy commuting distance of Edgware / North West London. Ideally you will have experience of Xero and Quickbooks Online. You must be confident, outgoing, a team player and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must be looking to upgrade to a mid tier practice where you can continue with your bookkeeping and accountancy career.
