Theatre Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Manager for a busy Private Hospital in the Gloucester The Hospital has an excellent reputation and continue to further develop current clinical services and introduce new specialties. As the Operating Theatre Manager you will be required to provide leadership and direction to ensure efficient and effective management of theatre and coordinating the delivery of a high standard of nursing care . Successful Candidates Will Have : ·Experience as a Scrub Nurse, Anaesthetics and Recovery and Per-op settings ·Bachelor of Science (Nursing) ·Post Graduate qualification ·Leadership and management qualification desirable Established interpersonal and problem solving skills ·Advanced clinical competence in this area of specialty ·Ability to work well within a team ,providing teaching ,coaching and mentoring Duties ·Manage the services of the 2 operating department a minor procedures unit, ambulatory unit and endoscopy suit ·You will be responsible for business and strategic planning and the provision of high quality patient and client care ·Accountable for effective control mechanisms for the administration of resources and costs ·Responsible for business management and development, accountable for the department budgets ·Assist in hospital growth and business design ·Member of the senior hospital management team ·Projects lead Bariatric services & surgery implementation & Projects lead Emergency Care Services ·Hospital budget planning Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of the prestigious management team?
