Employees benefit from great career progression, sector-leading professional training and great job stability - people stay an average of 6 years The Role We have Support Worker vacancies in 2 types of services in the Ottershaw and Chertsey area - 1 is a supported living service and the other is a residential service. We’re looking for applicants for both types of services as we know some people prefer either/or. Working shifts on a 7 day rota covering usually early mornings, late and night shifts (6:30/7:30am-2/4pm, 1:30/2:30pm-8/10pm, 8:45pm-7:15am and sleep ins 11pm-7am; subject to change). Skills and Experience You don’t need experience as full training is provided, and you will work with a local team who will guide you from day one. You will need to be: Reliable - the person you support, their family and your team will quickly learn that they can count on you. Creative - you see alternative ways of getting things done effectively. Determined - you don’t give up when things get difficult. These qualities are essential to the role, as together they mean you will be able to give outstanding support, empowering people to make choices and: participate in social, leisure and work activities carry out everyday tasks, such as personal care, cleaning or going shopping learn new skills and reach their full potential Salary and Benefits The salary is £17,000.
