Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced welder/fabricator around the Falmouth area. My client is a leading precision fabrication company. They are looking for applicants on temporary basis who have experience in working with the following: Fabricating, assembling and/or repairing structural steel parts of fishing and commercial vessels Laying out and fabricating metal structural parts such as plates, bulkheads, decks and frames and bracing them in position for welding Fitting metal parts into position in or on hull of vessel Handling compressed cylinders, hoses and regulators, welding machines, leads and performing all aspects of gas and electric welding, cutting and burning operations Stick, mig and arc welding, using appropriate procedures for the material and for the application of the material being welded Reading and interpreting boat plans and technical drawings Job Type: Full-time Experience: ·welder/fabricator: 1 year (Required)
