Overview
We are looking for a .NET web developer, with at least 3 years’ experience, to help support their range of client websites and web-based applications alongside developing new websites and features for both new and existing brands. The role will involve working on and testing multiple projects within the agency across standard CMS-based websites, ecommerce platforms and bespoke web-based Web form and MVC applications. KEY REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and background: • C# • ASP.NET • HTML5 • JavaScript • MS SQL • CSS3 • MVC • Entity Framework • Payment gateway integration experience • 3 years commercial experience • Testing experience and an eye for detail • Can work individually or as part of a team • Eagerness to learn and expand skillset ADDITIONAL SKILLS On top of the key requirements, it would be favourable (but not required) for candidates to show skills within the following areas: • Experience with CMS based development, particularly Kentico and/or Umbraco • Experience with email marketing platforms • Understanding of security-led development • Experience with Amazon AWS and/or Windows Azure environments THE PACKAGE Life with us is about balance, so we make sure the benefits of working here match that well known philosophy of work, rest and play… Work Firstly, it’s about timings - our team choose their own start time between 8 and 9:30am, finishing the corresponding time between 4:30 & 6pm. We have free onsite parking and are just 15 minutes’ walk from the train station; there’s a bike store too if you’re more of a two wheels type person. We don’t expect you to work for free, so of course you’ll be paid a competitive salary based on your experience and skill set, there are bonus opportunities and a company pension scheme. Rest You’ll get 20 days holiday plus bank holidays as standard. We also top up the 20 days by closing over the period between Christmas and New Year with no deduction from your allowance. We also like to keep your nutrition levels up too… in the office you’ll find free tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream and fruit available at all times. There’s usually a pile of biscuits hanging around too to dive into. Play We’re a digital agency, so of course we have a pool table; lunch times aren’t the same without a game of 'Killer’. If you’re not a pool shark, we also have a break out area with books, sofas and coffee table for a more relaxed break.
