The firm A highly regarded, Accountancy Firm in Harrogate require an Accounts Assistant/Semi-Senior to join their successful team. This is a firm who retain and develop staff and always endeavour to promote from within the firm. They support studies and development and look to enhance experience to a broad and strong skill base to complement formal studies. The vacancy The successful candidate will join a thriving team who all contribute to the successful business accounting team. Working with a shared portfolio of clients, you will undertake; Year-end accounts preparation for a range of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Managing a portfolio of clients using Xero, Quickbooks and Sage Producing management accounts for a range of clients Completing and submitting VAT returns; Supporting clients with bookkeeping on occasion The Successful candidate The successful candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience gained within a firm of accountants, be studying AAT or ACCA/ACA and possess excellent communication skills in order to build successful and long term relationships with clients. The rewards In return, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £18.000-£23,000 per annum (negotiable) and a firm that will support and develop your experience and skill base in line with your studies Application Process Please apply with your CV in the first instance.
