Quality Inspector

Quality Control Inspector Location-DE5 Salary-£24,000-£25,000 Permanent Position The Role A Quality Control Inspector job has become available for a well-established engineering company based in Ripley in Derbyshire. THe main purpose of the role is to ensure that work carried ni the companies Fabrication department is produced in line with specific industry and company requirements. You will be responsible for internal audits for documents associated with production, goods inspection, component inspection, visual and dimensional, alongside assisting the Weldng Coordinator with weld traceability. The Candidate To be considered for this role, you will come from a fabrication and welding background, prefereably having worked in Nuclaer or Power industries. Due to the nature of the role, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to interpret customer specifications, documents and requirements, have an excellent eye for detail, good IT skills and have a good understanding or experience of working within an ISO9001 Quality Management System. Derisrable Qualifications / Requirements Experience of Auditing Familiar with the use of gauging and manual inspection methods Knowledge of special processes (i.i Welding, NDT) The Client A well-established Derbyshire based engineering company that manufacture bespoke precision engineered products to specialist industry sectors, with an enviable reputation for quality.
