Quality Lead – South Newton Hospital The Renovo Care Group is the new brand set up by Blantyre Capital who have acquired the hospital campus at South Newton plus some other existing operating assets.Blantyre has agreed to investment plans which will see the opening of the South Newton Hospital near Salisbury to start the provision of neuro-rehab services.Based on these plans Renovo intends to open the site in the summer 2020 and it will form part of the group portfolio that provides neurological services in the South. Renovo specialises in the provision of care for people suffering from complex conditions related to, or caused by, acquired/traumatic brain injury and other neurological illnesses, including spinal cord injury.These services are delivered in both hospital and community settings across the South of England. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the team in the development phase of a new service, influencing the development of the quality improvement and assurance programmes, and ensuring the delivery of the highest quality safe and effective care. Recognising that the Quality Lead will be a crucial element to the delivery of an excellent service, appointment to this post is to occur during the design and build phase in order to ensure robust quality assurance controls and mechanisms are integral to the service specification and delivery model. You will need: Previous clinical or professional background with extensive experience in clinical quality, governance, patient safety, risk management, audit and the development and monitoring of quality standards in a health care setting Extensive experience in the design and implementation of audit programmes. Ability to disseminate clinical audit outcomes that generate changes to clinical practise with both individuals and clinical teams respectively Ability to lead continuous improvement processes in a health care facility Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (CQC) Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient care Experience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholders Proven ability to successfully motivate a clinical services team providing positive leadership and clinical networking opportunities Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills Be confident in producing and presenting reports using data and trend analysis to inform and take forward strategic decisions and improvements.
