The Company Our client a leading engineering and manufacturing company that operate within a wide range of industries such as Aerospace and Defence, Land and Sea Systems, Nuclear and Marine are recruiting a Production Controller to join their team. The Role The Production Controller has responsibility and ownership for the coordination of all shop order activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from contract review through to completion and closeout, including raising of purchase requisitions, job pack creation and release and progress monitoring throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. The role requires close liaison with key internal stakeholders; Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Sales Admin and Supply Chain and to ensure the successful on-time delivery of assigned products. Skills & Experience We're looking for someone who can work under minimum supervision and has proven experience as a Production Controller or in a similar role within an Engineering/Manufacturing company. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple shop orders to agreed Quality, Cost Delivery targets. Experiences in scheduling report writing and problem-solving. Experience using an ERP system.
