Overview
Technical Project Manager Based south of Cambridge, one of our Technology Consulting clients, are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their world-class project team. Operating in the field of Industrial Electronic, sensing and data collection/communications solutions, you will primarily be tasked with identifying and proposing a technical solution to customers & then overseeing the projects complete life cycle from concept to completion. As a project manager, you will lead the proposal and development of unique engineered solutions & work closely with the client and technical project teams, ensuring successful delivery of the project. They offer a relaxed and flexible working environment as well as exposure to some of the most exciting and innovative technology Your Responsibilities · Work with customer to identify the problem and propose the engineered solution · Oversee technical projects from concept to completion · Lead product development from concept to completion, working closely with multi-disciplined technical teams throughout each stage of the project · Oversee manufacture and delivery of the solution to the customer · Manage client projects against time, budge & expectations Ideal Candidate Profile We all know that businesses will not get everything they are asking (rarely anyway) however if you have experience or tick several of the below points, chances are they would be interested in meeting you · A good academic background in Engineering (STEM Degree or equivalent with experience) · Solid Technical Project management skills (Prince 2/APM/Agile) · Experience working in a technology consulting or high-tech manufacturing environment · Design background in electronic hardware or embedded software This role requires someone who can hold their own against a client when under pressure. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to create ideas and offer technical solutions in short timescales, as well as can manage several projects at one time. This is a challenging technical role, in which you will be exposed to some of the most innovative and exciting technology. The Technology you work on and the problems you face will be ever-changing.
