Graduate Transport Planner - Bristol City Centre Your new company Your new company is an independent Transport Planning and Engineering consultancy who are based over 4 offices around the UK. With over 15 years in the market, they have built a strong name & brand for themselves, but are now looking to recruit a new member of their Bristol office in the form of a Transport Planner. Your new role You will have a proven track record in providing solutions to transport and highways issues relating to development projects. You will be competent in using and analysing data from the various Transportation software packages and be able to produce reports including transport strategies, transport assessments and travel plans. You will have experience of delivering to quality, time and budget demands. You will be a good communicator and able to work closely with private and public sector Clients as well as multi-disciplinary teams. The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic and developing team. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the wider division. What you'll need to succeed To really excel in this role, you will Ideally have graduated recently with a Bachelor's degree and/or ideally a Master's degree (although this is not essential) in one of the following subjects: Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Economics, or Maths; or a related discipline. You will be a determined and hard working individual that is a confident communicator as dealing with clients will be a large part of your role moving forward. You will work 37.5 hours a week and entitled to 25 days annual leave with the option to buy or sell 5 additional days.
