Overview
Management Accountant / Bookkeeper Stockport Salary 30k per annum Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Management Accountant who can take responsibility of the finance operation on a sole basis. You will have full responsibility for the management accounts but also get involved with some transactional work including purchase ledger and reconciliation duties. This role would suit someone who is currently studying CIMA or ACCA or QBE and has had exposure as an assistant or a management accountant. Reporting into the Director of the business and working solely in the Finance Office, you will be responsible for the following: Month/year end accounts preparation Month/year end reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Daily banking Analysis and investigation of anomalies Regular meetings with management Management of ledgers, credit control tasks Ad hoc tasks as required The main challenges of the role are as follows: Understanding existing, and establishing new, processes to enable the timely delivery of management information to the business to drive quicker decision making Building relationships across the rest of the business Reporting in a timely manner Ideally the successful candidate should possess: A logical and efficient approach to problem solving Be pro-active and take ownership of tasks assigned to them Be a fast leaner with an inquisitive mind, always go above and beyond Qualified / QBE / Studier (CIMA/ACCA)
