Overview
Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking to enhance your skills and experience? If so, please read on NOW Careers are recruiting for a well-established, high profile public sector organisation. This is for a Finance Assistant role, to assist the Finance Manager in maintaining & producing accurate and timely reconciliations of key balance sheet control accounts, including, but not limited to, bank accounts, fixed asset register and other asset/liability codes. You will be responsible for: Raising requisitions Training staff on internal processes Assistance with month end procedures Liaising with Procurement and Accounts Payable departments Participating in finance meetings Ad-hoc finance tasks You will have great interpersonal skills with great IT skills including a high level of Excel and you will have previous accountancy experience. The role would suit an individual that has worked within a similar role and is flexible and happy to help out team members at busy periods. The salary on offer is £10.25 an hour plus holiday pay.
