Overview

We have a very sensitive, unique and tailored service for women aged 18 and up in which there is 9 residents at present, who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and are unable to cope in the community. You as a support worker would be guiding and helping them on the road to recovery. This service provides safe, high quality support that has an emphasis on the immediate crisis while also focusing on building resilience, support networks and maintaining good mental health on returning home. It is a spacious house in the community and has a large sitting room, shared kitchen, laundry, dining room and garden. This service is very special and delicate and welcome all who are joining the team to support the women with the following: Creating an individual support plan that is recovery focused Support with benefits and housing services Supporting the women with daily living skills: self care, managing money, cooking, domestic skills, organising time Support the women to maintain good mental health Encouraging the women to be active during the days Helping the women find voluntary work Developing their self-confidence and life skills Requirements Passion to work with women in crisis Genuine and natural approach to working in this area of care Team Morale DBS (Update Service) or we will register you References Happy to work block shifts and to want continuity Benefits for you Starting salary of £9.50- £10.00 per hour New Skills and the opportunity to work in a very special service Waking Night Shifts Available Holiday pay Pension Scheme Flexible hours Weekly pay Paid Shadow Shifts Possible Temp to Perm work Interested???
