Responsibilities We'll help you succeed The firm is looking to recruit Audit Assistants to join the Audit Support Hub based in Liverpool. This team is one of several Hubs within the companies rapidly growing Shared Service Centre (SSC). SSC team members work internally within the business providing support to the client facing members of the firm. The Audit Support Hub provides audit set-up, planning and completion support to Audit stream clients, providing the valuation of simple financial derivatives. You'll also: Support regional client facing audit teams with multiple aspects of the annual audit process (including audit set up, report generation, derivative valuation, casting etc) Work extensively with the firms proprietary audit support systems and processes Deal with internal queries with colleagues and teams across the UK Provide support to other colleague teams dependent upon seasonality of core work Requirements When you join us, we'll make your growth our priority. If you can demonstrate the following skills, we can help you go far. We're looking for someone with: IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications. Willingness to learn new systems is essential Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision. Ability to work well in a team environment and to use own initiative and take a flexible approach. Experience in either audit or finance is advantageous Degree or equivalent, particularly in a finance-related qualification is advantageous but not essential. No training contract is provided with this role, although it is an excellent first step into the accountancy profession and provides relevant experience.
