Exiting Sex Case Worker Temp

Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Exiting Sex Case Worker to work with a Domestic Abuse Service in Southwark (candidates must be able to travel to Newham as well ). This role is initially for a period of 3 months and is for 19.5 hours per week. The hourly rate is £19.44 per hour via an umbrella company. The role: To effectively identify and support women and men who are involved in sex working and wish to exit sex work. Provide options available to people wishing to exit sex work and empower service users to make informed choices about their lives. Encourage and promote a Multi Agency approach of working to ensure the needs of the service users are met to a high quality which will include partnership working within all aspects of service provision. Key Responsibilities: Effectively identify make contact and offer support to women and other individuals involved sex work in Newham Provide information, advice and advocacy to off-street and street based sexworkers in Newham Empower service users to make informed decisions about various aspects of their lives through discussions about options available to them as sex workers and wishing to exit sex work Enable service users to develop skills required for independent living and their broader needs by enabling access to other relevant services. Carry out Risk, Needs assessment and Support Plans with the Service Users Provide crisis intervention where necessary as appropriate to the needs and safety of the service users Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: N/A Experience: 2 years working within a similar role. Compliance: Current DBS check. Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently. Hours: 19.5 hours per week.
